The volleyball department of TuB Bocholt 1907 eV was founded in 1968. The first men's volleyball team played in the second division from 2001 to 2006 until they were relegated to the regional league and qualified for the third league west in 2012 through a qualifying tournament in Bonn . There TuB Bocholt finally became champions and rose to the second Bundesliga , in which the team finished tenth in the 2013/14 season. In the following season she landed in fourth place, which is why the 1st men will also play in the second Bundesliga North in the 2015/16 season .

The squad for the 2015/16 season consists of fourteen players. The team is trained by Waldemar Zaleski and Sven Böhme. The department head is Alena Andert and the post of 2nd department head is held by Norbert Olbing. Simon Aleff and Joel Wacha are responsible for the music during the games. Matthias Sprick will be the hall speaker and the home game coordinators will be Markus Terwege and Stefan Böcker.

WVV Cup

In the 2012/13 season the gymnasts and ball players were able to reach the final of the WVV Cup for the first time in the club's history. With a 3-1 win over VV Humann Essen-Steele, TuB Bocholt bought the ticket for the final. In the final, however, TuB had to bow to Rumelner TV with 0: 3. In the 2013/14 season, Bocholt lost 3-2 in Bocholt in the semi-finals against the DjK Delbrück second division team. In the WVV cup final of the 2014/15 season, Bocholt beat VV Humann Essen-Steele 3-0 in front of a home crowd. In the semi-finals, the team prevailed again 3-0 against the league club SV Bayer-Wuppertal. At the second division TSG Solingen Volleys, the team lost 3-1 in the final and thus ended the cup season in second place. In the quarter-finals of the 2015/16 cup season, Bocholt will face the winner of the USC Münster match against DjK Delbrück.

Venue

The home games of the first men of TuB Bocholt are played in the Bocholt Euregio sports hall. The hall holds 464 spectators who can take a seat in the stands or use the numerous standing places. After a two-year renovation, the hall was inaugurated again on June 29, 2012 and has therefore been the team's home ground since then.
