The Tubmill Creek is an approximately 20 km long tributary of the Conemaugh River in Westmoreland County in the southwest of the US state Pennsylvania .
Its catchment area of around 141 square kilometers is mainly in the Fairfield Township in the north of the county, small parts belong to the St. Clair Township . The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission classifies parts of the river as Class A Wild Trout Waters because of the abundance of rainbow trout below the Tubmill Reservoir .
course
The river has its source at Laurel Hill on the border with Somerset County in the area of Pennsylvania State Game Land 42 . It initially flows north and is only dammed a little later at Ross Mountain Golf Club to the Tubmill Reservoir. It leaves the lake again and now runs in a north-westerly direction, takes on the Hendricks Creek and the Freeman Run , and flows into the Conemaugh River from the left at Bolivar .
Most of its course is forested, only a few places are used for agriculture.
