The 2008 Twenty20 Cup was the fourth season of the English Twenty20 Championship. The winners were the Middlesex Crusaders , who beat the Kent Spitfires with 3 runs in the final .

The ECB received shortly before the game news that Yorkshire in the final group match against Nottingham with Azeem Rafiq has used an ineligible player and said the quarter-finals from. Yorkshire was disqualified on July 10th. Durham therefore played a quarter-finals against Glamorgan.
