Twenty20 Cup 2017
The Twenty20 Cup 2017 (referred to as the NatWest T20 Blast for sponsorship reasons , often just the T20 Blast ) was the fifteenth season of the English Twenty20 Championship, which took place from July 7th to September 2nd, 2017. In the final, the Nottinghamshire Outlaws beat the Birmingham Bears with 22 runs.
format
The 18 first-class counties were divided into two groups with nine teams each according to regional criteria. In this group stage, each team in a group played twice against six others and once against the two remaining teams. Upon completion, the first four in a group qualified for the quarter-finals. The semi-finals were then played on one day in Birmingham , along with the final, marketed as Finals Day .
