Scott Tyler Clary (born March 12, 1989 in Redlands, California ) is an American swimmer.

Clary celebrated his first international success at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he won silver over 200m backstroke. At the swimming world championships in Rome in 2009 he also won a silver medal, this time over 400 m individual medley. He was also successful at the 2011 World Swimming Championships in Shanghai . Here he was able to win the silver medal in the 400 m medley again and received bronze over the 200 m back. He had his greatest success so far at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , where he won the gold medal in the 200 m backseat. With a time of 1: 53.41 min also set a new Olympic record.
