The Körnerstraße underground station is a station on the Cologne light rail system . Of the district Ehrenfeld preferred U-station is from the lines 3 and 4 of Cologne Transport operated. It was opened in 1989 and has two tracks. Entry and exit are handled via a central platform .
location
The station is located in the Ehrenfeld district under Venloer Strasse , which leads out of Cologne in a north-westerly direction . There it is at the intersection of Venloer Straße with Körnerstraße and Geisselstraße. Another exit leads to Neptunplatz and the Neptunbad from 1912. The train station is in the immediate vicinity of the churches of St. Mary's Assumption and St. Joseph.

The subway station has an intermediate level. The central platform is designed as a high-floor platform, with the existing elevator to the street the station is therefore barrier-free. The walls of the platform level are artistically designed.
