The Piusstraße underground station is a station on the Cologne light rail system . Of the district Ehrenfeld preferred U-station is from the lines 3 and 4 of Cologne Transport operated. It was opened in 1989 and has two tracks. Entry and exit are handled via a central platform .
location
The station is located in the Ehrenfeld district under Venloer Strasse , which leads out of Cologne in a north-westerly direction . There it is at the intersection of Venloer Straße with Piusstraße and Franz-Geuer-Straße. Another exit leads to Fuchsstrasse and the mosque located there. The train station is near the Colonius telecommunications tower in Cologne .

The subway station has an intermediate level. The central platform is designed as a high-floor platform, making the station barrier-free with the elevator to the street. The walls of the platform level are artistically designed by Gerd Winner .
