Udo Ludwig
Udo Ludwig (* 1958 in Werl ) is a German journalist . He is considered one of the best-known representatives of investigative journalism in Germany and, through many years of research, one of the most intimate connoisseurs of the doping scene , especially in German cycling . As an editor he works mainly for the Hamburg news magazine Der Spiegel . The main focuses of his work are the areas of sport, medicine and consumer protection , which does not exclude other topics.

In addition to his numerous contributions to the Spiegel (among other things, the cyclist Jörg Jaksche revealed his doping for the first time in an interview in June 2007), Udo Ludwig has also published several monographs in book form as a sole author or with co-authors.
