Focus of activity

For Reifner, consumer protection means curbing the abuse of economic power. In 2017 he summarized this in a three-volume interdisciplinary work on money and the financial crisis. Colleagues from many countries comment on his writings and theses in an interactive commemorative publication on his 70th birthday.

With the European Social Contract Law Group , Reifner and the labor lawyer Luca Nogler from Trento organized an international research network. In it, a contract model is being developed that, as an alternative to the sales contract model, applies equally to employment, residential rental and consumer loan contracts and brings the disciplines together.
