Hannes Keppler (born October 26, 1915 in Breslau ; † August 19, 1974 in Augsburg ) was a German actor , director and radio play speaker .

Life

Keppler began his theater career in 1935 as an actor and worked on theaters in Hanau , Wunsiedel and Koblenz until the outbreak of war . During the Second World War he belonged to the ensemble of Otto Falckenberg's Kammerspiele in the Munich Schauspielhaus . In the last theater season during the war in 1943/44 he moved to the Munich Volkstheater under the direction of Willem Holsboer .

From 1955 to 1956, Hannes Keppler worked at the Städtebundtheater in Hof an der Saale as an actor and director . This was followed in 1957 by an engagement in the same functions at the city ​​theater in Regensburg and since 1958 at the theater of the city of Koblenz . From 1963 to 1974 Keppler was director of the municipal theater in Hof.
