Udo Weinbörner

Udo Weinbörner (born February 9, 1959 in Plettenberg , Sauerland ) is a German writer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Udo Weinbörner completed a course of study at the University of Applied Sciences for Justice in Bad Münstereifel , which he graduated with the title of " Diplom-Rechtspflegers ". He then worked in various locations in North Rhine-Westphalia , finally as a speaker at the Bonn Federal Ministry of Justice . From January 2007 to October 2013 he headed the department for international civil legal assistance, hardship payments for victims of extremist and terrorist violence and legal fact research at the Federal Office of Justice . He has been a writer since October 2013. Weinbörner wrote legal books, numerous legal articles and features and above all literary works. In November 2014 he was awarded the Alfred Müller Felsenburg Prize for upright literature at the Westphalia Literature Office in Unna for his novels . Today he lives in Meckenheim near Bonn.

Udo Weinbörner is the author of novels , short stories , plays and radio plays . From 1986 to 1996 he published the Bonn literary newspaper .

Udo Weinbörner is a member of the Association of German Writers and the 84th Bonn Literature Association .
