environment
The Uhlenbachtal nature reserve in Schwarzenmoor has been protecting the Bachtal on an area of 44.5 hectares since 1991. The area lies in the middle of the Ravensberger Land, which is characterized by intensive arable farming . Typical for the Ravensberger Land is the form of a widely branched sieve system with a box profile. The slope steps are up to 6 m high. The peripheral areas are home to near-natural beech forests . The wet grassland in the valley grassland is wet fallow, among other things cabbage thistle meadows and reeds at intensively used fish ponds and some near-natural small bodies of water.
