The club was founded in 2000 as Dinamo-2000 Yerevan and has played in the Bardsragujn chumb , the first division of Armenia , since 2001 . In 2002, the club's home games were no longer played in Yerevan, but in the industrial city of Ashtarak . In 2004 the club was renamed Dinamo-Zenit Yerevan and achieved its best result to date when they were fifth at the end of the season. In 2006 the club, which had since been renamed FC Ulisses Yerevan , ended the season as bottom of the table, but was able to prevail in the relegation game and create relegation. In 2011 the club won the title of Armenian national champion for the first time . Almost five years later, the club was dissolved after the first half of the 2015/16 season due to financial difficulties.
