Ulla Wagener (born October 7, 1968 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Ulla Wagener grew up in and near Frankfurt am Main, where she also completed a state-recognized dance training. It was through this area, which took her to London and Vienna, that she found acting. She studied acting at the Vienna Conservatory from 1989 to 1992, completing her studies with a state diploma. Also in Vienna she began her vocal training with A. Mellis at the Theater an der Wien , which she completed in 1995 at the Georg Friedrich Handel Conservatory in Halle / Saale.

In Halle she was a permanent member of the ensemble of the “New Theater” until 1996 under the directorship of Peter Sodann . She has been working as a voice actress since the 1990s, her voice from the Japanese anime series Sailor Moon (1997-1998) known as "Sailor Pluto". In the meantime, several well-known actresses have dubbed, such as Stockard Channing in The Matthew Shepard Story (2002), Stana Katić in Stiletto (2008), Christine Lakin in Caught in the Crossfire (2010) and Patricia Clarkson in Main Street (2011). She can be heard in the TV series Justified (2011) seasons 1-6 for Natalie Zea and in My Superhero Family (2011) for Amy Acker . Kali Rocha as Karen Rooney is also dubbed in the series Liv & Maddie and other films by Ulla Wagener. She lends her voice to American colleague Audrey Marie Anderson in the series ARROW, FLASH and ICE.

Ulla Wagener lives with her husband Bernhard Reininger and their two children, Nils Wagener and Liv Wagener, both of whom are also active as actors, voice actors and musicians in Munich.
