Ulrich-Oliver Selka

Ulrich-Oliver Selka (born June 25, 1947 in Celle , Lower Saxony ) is a German painter and sculptor .

Life

After attending school and vocational training, long study trips to France, Italy, Greece, Israel and Turkey followed from 1968 to 1971. From 1972 to 1978 he studied at the Berlin University of the Arts with Professors Helmut Fritz and Hermann Bachmann . Curt Grützmacher , Walter Hess and Hermann Wiesler were of particular importance for his career . In 1977 he was appointed master student with Professor Bachmann. In his sculptural works he produced starting from the theme of " masks ", which he transferred to the entire human body, even in front of audiences in performances casts of live models in Mull and plaster , he too Environments put together and a total work of art aspires.
