Ulrich Bergmann

Ulrich Bergmann (born April 6, 1945 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German writer .

Life

Ulrich Bergmann studied German and history at the University of Bonn . He then worked as a teacher at a grammar school in Mechernich . From 1988 to 2010 he worked as a high school teacher in Bad Münstereifel , where he taught German , history , religion and philosophy .

Ulrich Bergmann is the author of stories and poems . He is co-editor of the literary magazine Dichtungsring and works on the online magazine Der Philotast . Bergmann wrote for numerous literary magazines, including 500 GRAMM, Die Brücke , Hermitage, opponent , Krautgarten , Matrix , ndl , ort der augen , sterz , Zeichen & Wunder .

He is a member of the Association of German Writers . In 2006 he received the Ludwigsburg Literature Forum Prize .

Among other things, Bergmann dealt with the fate of the painter and sculptor Hans Ludwig Pfeiffer . In 2014 he led a summer seminar ( Kafka and the Modern Age ) at the Marine University of Qingdao, China . Bergmann has been in charge of the literature workshop at VHS Neuwied since 2013.

Ulrich Bergmann lives in Bonn.
