Ulrike Lauber

Ulrike Lauber (born March 13, 1955 in Biedenkopf ) is a German architect and university professor .

In 1979 Lauber passed her main diploma examination at the Technical University of Berlin . From 1986 to 1990 she worked in Richard Meier's architectural office in New York City , where in 1988 she became an associate partner and project manager.

In 1990 she founded Lauber + Wöhr Architects in Munich with Wolfram Wöhr , who also came from Richard Meiers' office . In 1997 she became a member of the Association of German Architects (BDA). In 1998 she led Lauber Architects together with Gerhard Hagemann, Manfred Walter and Peter Zottmann. Since 1999 she has been teaching as a professor for urban and regional planning and design at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin . In 2007 she founded Lauber + Zottmann Architekten GmbH . In addition, she worked as a judge on the Pforzheim Design Advisory Board, the Munich Freiham Advisory Group and the Munich City Design Commission and the Karlsruhe Design Advisory Board . In 2016, their architectural community was expanded to form Lauber Zottmann Blank Architekten GmbH .
