Umar Mustafa al-Muntasir

Umar Mustafa al-Muntasir ( Arabic عمر مصطفى المنتصر, DMG ʿUmar Muṣṭafā al-Muntaṣir ; * 1939 ; † January 23, 2001 in Germany ) was Secretary General of the General People's Committee in Libya from March 1, 1987 to October 7, 1990, and thus Libya's Prime Minister .

Al-Muntasir was chairman of the General People's Committee . From 1992 to 2000 he was the country's foreign minister . He died in Germany, where he was staying for treatment.
