Conte Umberto Marzotto (born April 12, 1926 ; † unknown) was an Italian racing driver and entrepreneur.

Career

Of all four Marzotto brothers active in motorsport, Umberto was the least successful. Like Gianni , Paolo and Vittorio, Umberto came from the Marzotto textile industry , which operated a fashion empire in northern Italy. Today the company is part of the Valentino Fashion Group .

Umberto made his debut in motorsport together with his brother Paolo at the Mille Miglia 1948 in a Lancia Aprilia . His best placement in the classic Italian road race was 21st overall in 1953 . In the same year he was sixth in a Lancia Aurelia in the Coppa d'Oro della Dolomoiti , his best result in an international sports car race.
