União das Freguesias de Montemor-o-Velho e Gatões, or Montemor-o-Velho e Gatões for short , is a municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of the Portuguese town of Montemor-o-Velho . The municipality covers an area of ​​31.06 km² and has 3670 inhabitants (as of 2011 figures).

It was created in the course of the local reorganization of Portugal after the local elections on September 29, 2013, as a merger of the previous municipalities of Montemor-o-Velho and Gatões .
