Run So Far is a pop rock song written by George Harrison and released by Eric Clapton as a single in both 1990 and on November 18, 1989 on the Journeyman album .

On the recording George Harrison worked on guitar and as a singer. The song is divided into intro, verse, chorus and ending. The intro of the song is in the original key of C major . Throughout the song, the chords C major, G major and F major change according to a cadence , with C representing the tonic , G the subdominant and F the dominant , interspersed with fillings, the so-called "fills".

The single was 40th on Billboard's mainstream rock songs chart and stayed there for a total of four weeks.

In 2002 George Harrison's version appeared on his posthumously released last studio album, Brainwashed .
