This discography is an overview of the musical works of the British musician Eric Clapton .
He has published 19 studio albums and 13 live albums so far . In addition, 24 compilations , two EPs , 20 video albums, four soundtracks and 54 singles were released . In the 1960s and 1970s, Clapton was a member of the bands The Yardbirds , The Bluesbreakers , Cream , Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominos .
The albums 461 Ocean Boulevard (1974) and Unplugged (1992) took first place on the US Billboard 200 . The cover album From the Cradle (1994) ranked number one in Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain and the United States. The compilation Clapton Chronicles: The Best of Eric Clapton (1999) took first place in Austria and the studio album I Still Do (2016) took first place in Switzerland.
According to the sources, he has sold more than 130 million records in his career, over 8.7 million of them in his home country alone, making him one of the performers with the most records sold worldwide . The most successful release from Eric Clapton is the album Unplugged with more than 26 million units sold.
