Just One Night is a live recorded album by Eric Clapton and was released in April 1980 on the RSO Records label. The album was recorded in December 1979 in Nippon Budōkan , Tokyo . In 1990 the album was released on CD.

Reception and awards

Allmusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine praised the many dynamic songs and the “crackling” guitar solos by Clapton. He also mentioned that "the album clearly shows Clapton's abilities." Erlewine awarded a total of four and a half of the five possible rating units. The album reached number 16 in the German charts . The album was ranked 18th in the UK. In the United States, Just One Night was ranked seventh on the Billboard 200 . The singles Tulsa Time and Cocaine each reached number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1980. The single Blues Power, however, only number 76. The album was awarded a gold record by the RIAA and platinum in Canada . In total, the recording sold more than 600,000 times.
