The Eric Clapton World Tour of 2018 [ ˈɛrɪk klæptɒn wɜːld tʊə ] ( German : "Eric Clapton World Tour 2018") was a concert tour by British rock musician Eric Clapton . The world tour began on January 8th, 2018 in Guildford , England and ended on October 7th in New York City , United States . During the tour, Clapton performed ten times and visited Germany and France in addition to the United Kingdom and the USA .

In early January, Clapton performed with Paul Jones in the UK. Three weeks later, Clapton held an invitation concert at the Théâtre Mogador in Paris. After a break of several months, the Brit appeared as the main act of the Greenwich Town Party 2018. There followed three last appearances in Europe, during which Clapton visited Germany and Great Britain. This was followed by another private concert ( Chicago ) and a joint concert by Clapton with guitarist Jimmie Vaughan ( Columbus ) in the United States, before Clapton ended his tour with two concerts in New York's Madison Square Garden.
