Clapton is a compilation album by British rock musician Eric Clapton from 1973. The album includes tracks from Clapton's early solo career. It is the second Clapton compilation under Polydor .
Although the album was also sold in other countries, the compilation should help Clapton to break through mainly in the United States. For this, Polydor Records licensed Clapton's music for Atco and Atlantic Records . The album was in production from 1973 to 1976.
