Bad Love is a rock song written by Eric Clapton and Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones and released on Clapton's album Journeyman in 1989 and a single in 1990 . In 1991, another version appeared on Clapton's live album 24 Nights .
The music video is shot in black and white and shows Clapton, Nathan East , Greg Phillinganes and Phil Collins playing the song on stage during a rehearsal, mixed with backstage and pause footage.
In 1991 Clapton received a Grammy Award for the piece in the category "Best Male Vocal Performance" ("Best Rock Vocal Performance, Male"). The song reached # 1 on the mainstream rock charts, # 88 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was # 25 on the UK singles chart .
