Crossroads Guitar Festival

The Crossroads Guitar Festival is a music festival and benefit concert that has been held every three years since 2004 (with the exception of 2016). Proceeds from the festivals will go to the Crossroads Center , a drug therapy center in Antigua founded in the 1990s by Eric Clapton and Richard Conte. Clapton is also the organizer of the Crossroads Guitar Festival.

Crossroads Guitar Festival 2004

The first Crossroads Guitar Festival took place June 4-6, 2004 at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas , Texas . A double DVD with 250 minutes of concert recording was released in the same year, but did not show all of the artists who performed.

Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007

The 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival was held on July 28th at Toyota Park in Bridgeview , Illinois . The 28,000 tickets are said to have sold out within 22 minutes. In the same year a concert recording was released on a double DVD.
