União das Freguesias de Quirás e Pinheiro Novo , UF Quirás e Pinheiro Novo for short , is a municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Vinhais in the Trás-os-Montes region .

The municipality has 286 inhabitants and an area of ​​59.19 km² (as of June 30, 2011).

It was created in the course of the administrative reorganization in Portugal 2013 on September 29, 2013 through the merger of the municipalities of Quirás and Pinheiro Novo . Quirás became the seat of the new community.
