União das Freguesias de Curopos e Vale de Janeiro , UF Curopos e Vale de Janeiro for short, is a municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Vinhais , in the Trás-os-Montes region .

The municipality has 313 inhabitants and an area of ​​36.20 km² (as of June 30, 2011).

It was created in the course of the administrative reorganization in Portugal 2013 on September 29, 2013 through the merger of the municipalities of Curopos and Vale de Janeiro . The seat of the new municipality was Curopos.
