The Unstruttal nature reserve between Nägelstedt and Großvargula is located in the Gotha district and in the Unstrut-Hainich district in Thuringia . It extends along the Unstrut between Nägelstedt , a district of Bad Langensalza , to the west , and the core town of Großvargula , to the east . State road L 2128 runs along the south-eastern edge of the area .
