The Jonastal nature reserve is located in the Gotha district and the Ilm district in Thuringia . The largest nature reserve in the Gotha district extends north and north-east of Gossel , a district of the rural community of Geratal , between Crawinkel in the south-west and Arnstadt in the north-east along county road 10.North of the area runs the state road 1045, to the east extends the 58- hectare Gottesholz nature reserve , runs the L 3004 and flows the Gera .
