Urban Strangers live

Urban Strangers is an Italian band from Somma Vesuviana , who became famous in 2015 for their participation in the talent show X Factor . It essentially consists of Gennaro "Genn" Raia (born February 12, 1995 in Pollena Trocchia ) and Alessio "Alex" Iodice (born September 18, 1995 in Massa di Somma ).

Band history

Raia and Iodice, both from the Naples area , formed the band Urban Strangers in 2012 and after a few live appearances began to work on their own music in the local studio Casa Lavica . In 2015 they released their first EP after the single Empty Bed and applied for the casting show X Factor , where they competed in the team of juror Fedez . They made it to the final and were considered favorites, but just lost to Giosada . Her single Runaway subsequently reached the top of the charts ; an EP of the same name was also released, which contained the number one hit, covers and songs from the first EP presented during the course of X Factor . In 2016, the duo's producers joined the band as live musicians.
