Ursula Gottwald (* 1970 in Munich ) is a German actress .

Life

Ursula Gottwald received her training at Uta Hagen's acting school (Acting Class HB Studios) in New York. She then took voice and language lessons with Margret Langen (Max Reinhard Seminar - Vienna) in Munich. This was followed by a degree in law at the LMU Munich (1st state examination) and theater studies at the LMU Munich.

Ursula Gottwald has worked in numerous film and television productions since the mid-1990s. She played her first role in Sönke Wortmann's film Das Superweib . This was followed by roles mostly in television films and well-known television series, such as Lawyer Abel , Die Verbrechen des Professor Capellari , Polizeiruf 110 , Tatort , Der Alte , SOKO Kitzbühel , Die Rosenheim-Cops , 10 months Dahoam is Dahoam and 10 episodes Um Heaven's sake . She was seen in Heinrich Breloer's multi-part series Die Manns - A novel of the century and in Tobias Stille's television film Ohnmacht . In the Serbian cinema production Na lepom plavom Dunavu (international title The Beautiful Blue Danube ) she played Gerda from Germany. For this role, she received nominations at the West Hollywood International Film Festival and the Festival du Film de Strasbourg in 2009 in the category Best Actress. She also appeared in 2011/2012 as one of the leading female roles in the Russian television series Hunting Gauleiter about World War II, directed by Oleg Basilow. The actress shot the third Police Call 110 under the direction of director Dominik Graf. The scriptwriter was Günter Schütter in all three cases. In Polizeiruf 110 with the title The lie that we call the future , she embodies one of the main dramatic roles (role name: Dallas).

Ursula Gottwald also works as a theater actress. In 2002 she played in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof in the play Avanti! Avanti! by Samuel A. Taylor as Mrs. Claybourne.

The actress lives with her son Niklas James Kearney (* 2009) in Munich.
