Ursula Isbel

Ursula Isbel (also: Ursula Dotzler-Isbel , pseudonyms for Ursula Dotzler , born April 2, 1942 in Munich ) is a German writer and translator .

Life

Ursula Isbel studied fashion graphics for four semesters after finishing school . She worked in an office for several years and also began writing children's stories for the radio . Since 1969 she has published her own works in book form. After working in Munich and Staufen im Breisgau , she now lives as a freelance writer and translator in Sulzburg .

Ursula Isbel mainly writes young people's literature for a female reading audience; She also translated numerous books for young people from English and Swedish into German .
