Ursula Lingen
Marianne Ursula Lingen , married Meisel , née Schmitz , (born February 9, 1929 in Berlin , † October 20, 2014 in Vienna ) was a German - Austrian theater and film actress .
Life
Ursula Lingen's parents were Theo Lingen (civil: Franz Theodor Schmitz ) and Marianne Zoff . She is the half-sister of the actress Hanne Hiob , who emerged from her mother's first marriage to the playwright Bertolt Brecht . Both grew up together.
Lingen has appeared in over thirty German feature films since 1947, in several television plays and in the television crime series Der Alte , Tatort , Der Kommissar and Derrick .
She played - not only classical roles - at the following theaters: Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin, Renaissance Theater in Berlin, Schiller Theater in Berlin, Thalia Theater in Hamburg , Bavarian State Theater in Munich , Münchner Kammerspiele , Volkstheater Vienna , Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, Salzburger Landestheater ( Salzburg Festival ). This was often directed by Kurt Meisel , with whom she was married and had a son born in 1952. At the Burgtheater in Vienna she last appeared on stage as a partner of Michael Heltau in the two-person play Love Letters .
In 1990 she briefly took over the management of the Hamburger Kammerspiele .
Ursula Lingen was buried at the side of Kurt Meisel in his honorary grave in the Vienna Central Cemetery (group 40, no. 168).
