The Urus-Martanowski rajon ( Russian Урус-Мартановский район ; Chechen Хьалха-Мартанан кӀошт ) is a Rajon in the Chechen Republic in Russia . It is located south of the republic capital Grozny . The administrative center is the city of Urus-Martan .

The population is 120,585 (as of October 14, 2010; 2002: 101,163; 1997: 107,993).

The largest towns besides Urus-Martan are the villages of Goity and Gechi , each with over 10,000 inhabitants (2010).
