The Usa ( Russian Уза ) is a 188 km long left tributary of the Sura in the European part of Russia .

The USA rises on the Volga Heights near the Chwatowka settlement in the north of Saratov Oblast . From there it first flows in a westerly and northwestern direction through the intensely agricultural landscape. After about 55 km, it reaches the southeast of Penza Oblast shortly after the confluence of the Grasnucha .
Here it first swings to the west, but after the confluence of the Suljajewka it changes back to north and north-west directions. After Schemyscheika happened and Njanga has taken, it reaches at Ust-Usa the Sura.

The water of the USA is used for drinking and service water supply . It is also a popular destination for boaters .
