Vítor Luiz Faverani Tatsch (born May 5, 1988 in Porto Alegre ) is a Brazilian basketball player. He currently plays in the position of the center for the Boston Celtics in the NBA .
Faverani began his career as a basketball player in the youth of the CB Málaga . In the 2005/06 season he played in the third Spanish division for CB Axarquía . The following year he ran for Basket Saragossa in 2002 in the second Spanish division and played some games for CB Málaga in the first Spanish division . In 2007/08 he played for San Sebastián Gipuzkoa BC in the Spanish second division. He then moved again to CB Málaga for a year. That year he also played for their reserve team CB Axarquía in the second Spanish division . The next two years he ran for CB Murcia . With the team he rose to the second division and then back on. For the 2011/12 season he moved to the Spanish first division club Valencia Basket Club and stayed there for two years. The team reached the playoffs in the league with fourth place . There they failed in the semi-finals at FC Barcelona in 2012 and in the quarter-finals in Zaragoza in 2013 . In both years he competed with Valencia in the Eurocup . In 2012 the final was reached, losing to BK Chimki . In the next season, Valencia was eliminated in the semifinals against Lokomotive Kuban Krasnodar .
For the 2013/14 season Faverani moved to the NBA team of the Boston Celtics . Since 2014 he has played in the D-League for the Maine Red Claws .
