Věra Bartošková

Věra Bartošková (born September 27, 1946 in Prague ) is a Czech publicist and poet .

Life

She graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and has lived in Duchcov since 1974 . She worked as editor of the Nordböhmischer Verlag, in Teplitzer Směr, in the Revue Teplice, as editor-in-chief of the Nordböhmischen Revue and in the Nordböhmisches Tageblatt. She is a member of the Journalists' Syndicate, Obec spisovatelů Prague (Prague Writers' Community) and the North Bohemian Writers' Club. In 1993 she founded the KAPUCÍN publishing house of the Society of Friends of the City of Duchcov, where she edited or prepared more than 40 books and publications, mostly by North Bohemian authors. She is actively involved in some environmental and civil non-governmental organizations. She initiated the multi-layered ecological and educational symposia “Vznášení nad krajinou” (Floating over the landscape) and has been organizing them since 1996.

She publishes her verses in literary magazines and media in the region and in the whole of the Czech Republic - she publishes the verses in regional printing and also in the whole of the Czech Republic, e.g. As in the supplement of the journal Nové Ústecké přehledy Sluneční corona, in southern Bohemia forum in Liberec Svetlik and on the website of the poet of the Czech Republic. She edited the Jezeří samizdat collection (1988) and is in charge of the publication Chceme čistý vzduch (We want clean air, 1990) on ecological demonstrations in Teplice . An anthology of North Bohemian and Sorbian authors was named after her poem Strach o moudivláčka (Fear for the Bag tit) (Kapucín 1996). Her verses are part of the anthology of North Bohemian authors Od břehů k horám (From the banks to the mountains, Votobia 2000 publishing house ). She edited the poetry collections Vrstvení v krajině ( Layering in the Landscape, Kapucín Publishing House, 2002) and Zasaženi sluncem ( Hit by the Sun, Kapucín Publishing House, 2003). The North Bohemian composer Václav Bůžek composed the cantata "Černí čápi a bílé labutě" (Black storks and white swans) for soprano , baritone , mixed choir , organ and orchestra from the verses from the Vrstvení v krajině collection . The world premiere was given in Teplice in 2004 in the performance of the North Bohemian Philharmonic and the soloists of the National Theater . With her verses she participated in the anthology of North Bohemian writers “Sluneční koróna” (Sonnenkorona, Kapucín Publishing House, 2004) and Poutníci slova (Pilgrims of the Word), with translation into Esperanto (published by Teplitzer Šlauch 2000, a free, educational and literary-aesthetic one Association, 2004). In 2005 her verses were included in the volume of poems Vzplanutí deště (The Flaring of the Rain) on the Internet (it was presented by the Syndicate V-Art Horažďovice-Písek, Prácheň as part of the project of the unforgettable literature Taxus bohemica). In the same year, the North Bohemian Scientific Library in Ústí nad Labem, together with the North Bohemian Writers' Club, published their collection of poems, Světlo stromů (The Light of Trees).

In 2006 she contributed to the Rošáda anthology ( Rochade , published at the Festival of Poetry by South Bohemian Authors, Balt-East, Ke Škole 1, 14900 Praha 11). Her poetry is featured on the websites of the Prague Writers 'Community (www.obecspisovatelu.cz) and the Žár Publishing House and the Ostrava Branch of the Writers' Community (www.zar.cz).

She takes part in readings by authors in Teplický Šlauch, in the Moster cycle Nebojte se poezie (Don't be afraid of poetry), in the Scientific Library in Ústí nad Labem, in the City Library in Teplice, in the Blue Club in Litoměřice and in Prague. In her verses she emphasizes the uniqueness of nature and the landscape and touches on the fear for them, especially for the Ore Mountains and the Bohemian Central Mountains . She looks for hidden and worked out connections with ancient and Celtic mythology . Her latest collection of poems, Šupiny hlubin ( Scales of the Depths), was published in 2007.
