Valentin Reynoso Hidalgo MSC (born December 16, 1942 in Nagua ) is a Dominican clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Santiago de los Caballeros .

Life

Valentin Reynoso Hidalgo joined the congregation of the Sacred Heart Missionaries , made his profession on September 8, 1972 and was ordained a priest on November 8, 1975 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 22, 2007 auxiliary bishop in Santiago de los Caballeros and titular bishop of Mades . The Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros, Ramón Benito de La Rosa y Carpio , gave him episcopal ordination on December 8th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Juan Antonio Flores Santana , Old Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros, and Jesús María de Jesús Moya , Bishop of San Francisco de Macorís .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on February 2, 2018.
