Valentina Enachi

Valentina Enachi (also Russian Валентина Енаки , Walentina Jenaki , English transcription Valentina (Y) enaki ; born February 15, 1966 in Chișinău ) is a former Moldovan long-distance runner who specialized in road running.

In 1990, when she was still starting for the Soviet Union , she won the Tiberias Marathon . In 1995 she came 20th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Belfort and won the Lausanne Marathon . In 1996 she was tenth in the Boston Marathon and won the Corrida de Langueux . As the unofficial starter in the marathon of the Olympic Games in Atlanta , she ran in 2:41:30 h, which would have been 42nd place. In 1997 she finished fifth in the Jungfrau Marathon and won the Lyon Marathon .

With a fifth place in the Paris Marathon 2000, she qualified for the marathon of the Olympic Games in Sydney , in which she did not reach the goal. In 2001 she won the Lausanne Marathon and the La Rochelle Marathon , in 2002 the Marathon de la baie du Mont Saint-Michel , the Murtenlauf and again in La Rochelle. In 2004 she finished second in Lyon.
