The Vassé is a river in France that runs in the Mayenne department in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Bairon in the northeastern municipality of Maisoncelles-du-Maine , generally drains in a southeastern direction and flows into the Vaige after about 21 kilometers in the municipality of Beaumont-Pied-de-Bœuf as a right tributary .
