The Vaige is a river in France that runs in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Léger , initially drains south, then swings to the south-east and flows into the Sarthe after 54 kilometers at Sablé-sur-Sarthe as a right tributary . On its way the Vaige crosses the departments of Mayenne and Sarthe .
