Vengeons is a village and a former French community with 452 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Manche department in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Avranches and the Canton of Le Mortainais .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the previous municipalities of Sourdeval and Vengeons were merged into the Commune nouvelle Sourdeval of the same name . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Sourdeval.
