Ver.di Literature Prize Berlin-Brandenburg
The ver.di Literature Prize Berlin-Brandenburg will annually since 2004 by the German trade union ver.di awarded, with a published work in alternating genres of prose , poetry and children's books is excellent. Written for authors from Berlin and Brandenburg , the prize is endowed with 3000 euros (as of 2019).
In recent years, the jury has included the ver.di district manager of Berlin-Brandenburg, Susanne Stumpenhusen, as well as two other writers every year .
In 2005 and 2015 no works were awarded, in 2006 and 2008 two works each had to share the prize money.
2013 was the first time at the ceremony ver.di literary prize , a ver.di literary prize awarded.
