Vern Hanaray

Vernon John "Vern" Hanaray (born August 14, 1951 in Masterton ) is a retired New Zealand cyclist .

In 1971, 1973 and 1977 Vern Hanaray became New Zealand road racing champion. In 1972 and 1976 he started at the Olympic Games in road racing, in 1972 in Munich he gave up, in 1976 in Montréal he finished 52nd. Twice, in 1974 and 1978, he competed in the Commonwealth Games . In 1974 he won the Archer International Grand Prix in southern England.
