Robin Reid (cyclist)

Robin Neil Reid (born December 16, 1975 in Invercargill ) is a former New Zealand cyclist who is now active in triathlon.

Career

In 1996 Robin Reid was New Zealand road racing champion. In 2001 he won the second stage of the Tour of Wellington . He has been riding for the Chinese Marco Polo Cycling Team since 2003 . In his first year there, he won a section of the Tour of Southland . A year later he won the fourth stage and the time trial at the Tour of Wellington and in 2005 he was New Zealand time trial champion.

Robin Reid is in a relationship with the German professional triathlete Britta Martin , who starts for New Zealand . He has also been competing in triathlons for a number of years and he set his personal best in July 2014 at Challenge Roth with 8:54 hours (18th place).
