The 24th Tour of Wellington (officially: Trust House Cycle Classic ) took place from January 26th to 30th, 2011. The bike race was held in five stages over a distance of 580 kilometers. It belonged to the UCI Oceania Tour 2011 and was classified in category 2.2.

The overall winner was the young New Zealander George Bennett from the Cardno Team ahead of the Australian Patrick Lane ( Team Jayco-AIS ) and his compatriot James Williamson from PureBlack Racing , who was ahead in the overall ranking of the teams.

Participating teams

Thirteen local teams, including a New Zealand national team, and five Australian cycling teams were invited . Five of the total of 18 teams had a UCI Continental team license .
