Peter McDonald (cyclist)
Peter McDonald (born September 22, 1978 ) is a retired Australian cyclist .
After having been successful in various one-day and stage races on the Australian cycling calendar since 2004, McDonald joined the UCI Continental team at FRF Couriers-Caravello in 2006 . In 2008, as a member of the Drapac Porsche team, he won a stage of the Tour de Taiwan and the Tour de Hokkaidō . His most successful year was in 2009 when he became Australian road racing champion and won the Tour of Wellington , winning the overall ranking of the UCI Oceania Tour 2009 . In 2010 he won a stage in the Tour of Wellington. In 2011, he was a member of Team V Australia until May 31 , without achieving international victories.
