action
Hilde, Philip and Karl escape the monotonous everyday life of a Bremen dormitory for people with disabilities . Followed by the supervisor Enno, who is played by Dominique Horwitz , a fun -loving comedy develops with a lot of situational comedy and self-irony.
Movie theme
The film deals with the topics of perception and self-portrayal of disability, friendship and love.
actor
The main actors Göttsch, Kleine and Grabski have been active as stage actors in the Blaumeier Atelier , a Bremen project for artistic work with disabled people.
criticism
“A sympathetic story, presented with mentally and physically handicapped people from a Bremen theater group who are supported by well-known German actors. Even if the characters are hardly explored by the disabled, are rather wooden by the professionals and the staging often seems awkward, the basic tone of the film is remarkable due to its unadulterated understanding and openness. "
